Sheesh, that person just fainted through an excess of caffiene. We better call in the ambulance...
He's doing that cause he wants to force himself to forget that tomorow is the day school reopens for the second semester.
Before we cart him off to the hospital for some treatment cause he needs to go to school tomorrow, I thought I should round up the whole June holiday, which has been pretty eventful, and also to remind the countless people out there who has officially owe me lunch and dinner and so on and so forth.
We'll start from the first day of the june holidays and end on today, so we'll have a chronological list of events as much as possible.
Anyway, the holiday started with a normal school day. We went back to school to endure one week of extra lessons including a chinese exams that we're about 80% sure we are going to fail. Don't worry, this percentage isn't made up like the time when I was saying that the bus slowed down from 80km/h to 0km/h in about 0.1 seconds.
After that, we had a 4D class outing, which was pretty uneventful other then the fact that we had only about 17 people in the class going including me, which is rare by any standards.
We then had the school warming day. Which will give me a lot of thing to write about.
First off, school warming day caused me to return to school almost every day. Ok, it isn't as bad as some other people, especially those in the logistics committe and the mass display committe whom basically had to return to school everyday to do all sorts of crazy stuff to finish off what they are supposed to do on time. But its bad enough...
The good news is that, at least the people in school cared to come to school on school warming day and I think that that is one of the best rewards for all the SCs when things sort of ran more or less properly like the way it was supposed to be.
Secondly, we realised the power of contradiction. We'll be providing a lengthy explanation for this, so lets hope that the person who just fainted from an overdose of caffiene can stay with us long enough.
We were arguing over whether or not we should use pegs as pegs reduce human error. The reason why we should be exact is to make sure that the mass display would be properly made. Therefore, we were supposed to make sure that the spots that are going to be painted will be exact as possible.
So, the teacher went to buy about 100+ pegs, and after we pegged the whole field and after tons of measurement, we reported that it isn't that accurate. I started rambling on using pegs to reduce human error and then the teacher said that, its ok, cause you can't expect the students to stand exactly on the spots...
Wow. In case you can't see the contradiction, we have started a contradiction summary below each contradiction. Here it is:
Contradiction: We pegged the field so as to reduce human error. Then, you said then its ok for the measurement to be off since they won't be standing exactly on the dot...
After this, we started painting the field. Here, the teacher told us not to be petty with the paint and to make sure that the paint is visible to everyone on the field. Some of us did take it the wrong way round and went to pour the paint from the cup into the field and then used the brush to mix it into the spot we were supposed to be painting.
Paint consumption was pretty bad anyway you see it. For a small portion of the field, we used a total of 15 litres of paint, including three bottles of turpentine. The teacher also brought about 30 odd brushes for the whole SC to paint with, with about 15 extra brushes sitting around doing nothing...
Anyway, in the end, we were struggling on paint and then the teacher said:"Use the paint sparingly..."
See the contradiction??
Contradiction: "Don't be petty with the paint" vs "Use the paint sparingly"
There is a few more contradiction, but I think I forgot about it. Sorry folks
Anyway, after the school warming day, we were shocked by the amount of money the school has...
For one thing, the teacher has hardly consulted any of the SCs when she went and purchased the 100+ pegs for us to peg the field with, and after we are done with it, its supposed to be donated to the Scouts, Guides and the NPCC...
Secondly, considering the amount of paint we used to paint a really small portion of the field and the words that were used such as "Don't be petty with the paint", we cna conclude that the teacher has a huge amount of money to spend on painting...
Thirdly, the school purchased a huge amount of caps for everyone in school. After packing all the caps, we had about an extra of 500 odd caps. Can you believe it? 500 extra caps...
Overall Conclusion: The school is RICH
I spent some time thinking about jokes to be made on the school compound when I first toured the school. It made the classes I took for the school tour had a pretty enjoyable time digesting the jokes, which included throwing instruements out of the windows and poking the wall to make a magical door appear in the wall...
Unfortunately, not all the classes got to hear my jokes, so...
too bad...
And now,
Lists of people who owe me lunch
- Anna and Seok Hui, cause I mass uploaded photos to them and their e-mail server forced me to do it 5 photos at a time. There were about 50+ photos...
- Some of the sec1s in 1D, cause I gave them some help during their interviews...
- The whole of disco, cause I found the date for the exco treat and also found the venue for the exco treat...
Oh ya, almost forgot about exco treat. Exco treat was pretty much eventful, including the fact that we now have another person on our contact list. Hee, we added the waitress e-mail address into our messenger online list. We had a pretty fun time during the exco treat, which included letting Anna and Seok Hui become targets for YP's practical jokes.
Anyway, end of June Hols means a mad rush of homework. You could basically see it when you see people online on your msn messenger list even at 3am in the morning.
Good luck to all you people out there still trying to rush your homework...
Anyway, I need to get this person who is now lying on the floor to the hospital. We'll probably need to ban coke after this...
P.S. To all you coke fans out there, this isn't a personal attack... Please take it lightly. Drink diet coke... Its LIGHT-ly

The school is rich?
Now I finally knew where that one-million-dolar School Building Fund went to!!!
And 15 litres of paint,100+ pegs and
500 extra caps?
Man, if the School continues to manage its resources so carelessly, I won't be surprised if the School uses up it's 'extra' monetary resources soon!
(Sorry for the double post. I accidentally pressed the Publish button.)
