The election results are out...
Aljunied was really close, PAP only won by a small margin of about 1200 post and the percentage was the closest. It was so exciting waiting for the results to come out.
Uncoincidentally, our school sc election campaign has finally started...
The release of results for the nomination has been unpredictably late and I guess what this means is that there will be lots of people who will be rushed into their campaign speech...
Anyway, we won't be exactly expecting the sort of speech that we get from the 2006 parliamentary election. Things like:
"Since you say that I lied, sue me"-Liu Chen Qiang
"Vote for the party that will give you peace, prosperity and progress, or rather, prosperity and progress, PAP"-Lee Hsien Leong
"我们的国家是一国两制"- forgotten who said that.
"Are Singaporeans racist?" "NO"- Chairman of worker party
and various other things like mass turn-outs and stadiums and reciting the pledge in all official languages to wrap up the whole election campaign...
I mean, how possible is that to happen?
Well, we could possibly sing the school song, but that would really need a lot of motivation and effort to bring the spirits up for everyone to sing it...
Anyway, today's campaign speeches weren't too bad. Got one of them very animated and really draws the crowd attention. Unfortunately, we, disco people right at the back row, was not able to hear their speeches (as usual, as if we can HEAR announcement in the first place). Wished the PA system in SAJC, the new school campus we are moving to won't be too bad.
Anyway, thought I wanted to type this down before I forget the statements that are made when the election results are announced. Its quite nice:

Maybe the student councillor election should do that as well...

i declare, according to the school rule, section a) procedure of election, that no student council will be form this year...i mean...haha,,,quite cool yeh!
