Great errors...

Have you ever wondered why we always think about the bad things? I am guessing that it is human nature that we do this things, that we continuosly remember the wrong things that certain people had done.

I find that i focus a lot on the wrong things that people had done, but can you imagine errors that are overlooked by more than one person, and that you eventually find the error sitting in front of you face after it has supposedly been checked?

In fact, many errors have ocurred since the beginning of this year. Right at the start of the year, we had VR socks. The problem with this socks is that the colour of the socks were wrong. They were of the opposite shade. It caused quite a bit on inconvinience to the sec 1s as the sec 1s needed to queue up a few days later to change the socks they had purchased.
End of story number 1

Second story started with publications.
For this one, there are various little small stories as there are really a lot of error abound.
Firstly, when did hui xin council became the 25th council. For all i remember, I entered the council in the 25th council, and Hui Xin was the president of the 26th council... But yet, in the publication, it is explicitly stated that Hui Xin is the president of the 25th student council...

Other than those errors, picture errors abound in that same piece. For one thing, the picture of the sc investiture used is definitely wrong. I do not remember seeing Jason in the 26th(or 25th council for that matter) council, and i definitely remember that we only had investiture in the carpark for the 27th investiture. What has happened was a mass of confusion in my head as i try to recall whether or not this was the 27th or 26th council that i am in now....

And that is for the student council section.

Dear old Lian Quan even had a bigger surprise in the book. He is the president of the mindsports club. Unfortunately, I guess his long lost twin brother has decided to take over the post as the president of the mindsports club is explicitly stated to be Thng Lian Chuan...

Obviously, there are a few more. For one thing, I do not quite remember the school offering the subject Biography to students. Apparently, our great biology teacher is able to teach another subject that combines both Biology and Geography...

And there is one more, which according to our english teacher is a slip. They spelt Treasurer and than Assistant Teasurer...
Tea-surer. I can see it now, someone who keeps the tea leaves in a cupboard...

That about wraps up the errors found there...
But you may ask, what is the point for me to list out all the errors here? The point is that, we must try to minimize errors in important things, especially year books that are given out to the whole school. Can you imagine the Sec4 students last year, looking through the year book and seeing lots of mistakes? Can you imagine what they would feel whenever they look at the last year book they receive from the school?

I think its a very sad thing for that to happen...
I mean, we strive for accuracy in English, but here, we have a year book published by the school which is fraught with errors...
Its a bit ironic isn't it...
